This piece is inspired by the idea of freedom and the strength it takes to rise above - to see from a higher perspective.

Birds have always carried that symbolism for me: a sense of movement, transformation, and gentle departure toward something unknown but peaceful.

The presence of two small birds in this painting is intentional - symbolising a conversation between who I am today and my younger self. They represent connection and the understanding that growth is not about leaving the past behind, but rising together with it.

“Transcendence” is both a journey and a return. It is a reminder that even as we move forward, parts of us learn to fly beside us.
