There’s something about watching the sun rise that speaks to me in a way few things can. The way the darkness slowly loosens its grip and the light always finds its way back.

When the world feels a little too heavy, I find comfort in the simple rhythm of the sky. The promise that even the longest nights eventually make room for colour again.

As I painted this piece, I thought about how dawn just arrives softly and consistently, offering another beginning whether we feel ready or not. A new chance to breathe, to move gently toward the things that matter.

This piece is my way of honouring small moments of hope that await on the horizon. It’s a reminder that you’re still here, things can shift, and even when it feels impossible... the sun will come up.
