This painting came from a place of slowing down.

The calm sea and feathered sky hold a small boat on the horizon - not lost, just unhurried.

I was thinking about the idea of finding your way home - not always by the shortest path, but by the one that gives you time to breathe. And finding your way home isn’t always about returning to a place, but coming back to yourself.

Sometimes the long way is the kindest route. It’s the quieter path that asks you to trust that you are still moving forward. You are on your way back home to yourself.
