A sky softened into stillness, meeting its reflection in the water.

This piece came from thinking about the quieter parts of ourselves - the ones that aren’t always seen clearly, but are always there.

The greys hold that sense of calm and depth, while small touches of muted gold move through - subtle, but present.

For me, it’s about that space between what we feel and what we show. Where everything settles, and we begin to recognise ourselves more gently.

This is an acrylic painting on a 50 x 50cm box canvas with painted edges.
