Apricity is a word that means the warmth of the sun in winter.

For this piece, I took inspiration from the feeling that even in the coldest, heaviest seasons, light still finds its way through.

The grey shades and calm water reflect those quieter, heavier moments, but the small touches of gold represent sunlight finding its way through.

This piece is my way of remembering that seasons don’t stay the same, and neither do we.

Light and warmth always return.
